Does the National Curriculum history syllabus mean that these
are now outdated for school use? |

would like teachers' views on this but the 'Knowing'
books clearly cover subject areas which figure largely in
Key Stages 2 and 3, also providing good foundations for later
more advanced learning. |

| Certainly.
Anyone interested in the particular subjects and wanting to
read clear concise text based on good scholarship, would find

Copies are becoming more difficult to track down but can be
found online at Amazon
in limited numbers from third-party vendors. |

|
Yes,
they are copied in schools and colleges of further education
on a large scale under licenses issued by the Copyright
Licensing Agency Ltd (CLA). This is very helpful in
teaching and the book pages lend themselves to this use
as long as copyright is respected.
